hi there, im the same as everyone else here, i was shocked to find that i owed mbs £39.99! so in my terrified state i decided to pay and cancel my subscription (which i never knew i had!) anyway i wanted to get rid of the software so emailed them asking for uninstall procedures, however got an email back saying that they were having training difficulties and would reply to me within 5 working days! i am now scared that i will keep getting charged or the money will have gone up by the time the company replies! i hate this company sucha waste of 40 quid! any help woul be VERY VERY VERY much appreciated!

UhOh, I did the same as you - panicked and paid!
Make sure you have cancelled the subscription and they shouldn't charge you any more money. I emailed them repeatedly to ask them to either remove their software from my computer or tell me how to do it. They never replied. Since i paid the £40 and cancelled the subscription they continued to access my computer on a daily basis (this went on for weeks).
It seems to me the only way to rid yourself from them is to get rid of the software yourself using one of the methods on this forum - check your Internet History and i bet you will discover the same as i did - they don't go away, even when you pay!

i can verify that the files dropped when the software installed are left on the system even if you cancel your membership, i have done it myself.
ill do it again soon and take some screenies
