I'm intrigued by this point in the article
Why did Platte stop marketing to UK?
No one will say. "Our reasons for this decision and our further intentions are simply related to our original marketing and business model," says Stanly Hiwat, chief executive of Platte International (BVI). He would not elaborate.
Some suggestions from me about what might have been their 'original marketing and business model'.
(1) To operate at full blast until such time as the environment became too uncomfortable for them to continue without threat of legal action;
(2) To operate until they had achieved a certain amount of income (something in the millions at the least, at a guess).
Anybody else have any thoughts on this?
