The "6 page subscription process" seems to have been abolished. Any rational person can see that their new site design is meant to make people ignore the terms and conditions.

download.plattemedia.com/landing.php?aid=105

Don't click if you don't want to sign up for movierecall or see pornographic images

Anyone who's involved in testing platte software, go and check that out. The download starts without any prompt and the program installs as soon as you run it, no cancelling involved this time. Straight off to porn. Terms and conditions are easily missable on the first page because you click the mahoosive ENTER button, then when you're in the download starts.

Just thought I'd give you a little insight on Platte's intentions.

There are several different variants of the landing page, reached by changing the figure after the "aid=" bit - well, there are thousands, but only a few variations, mainly for porn of some description. I didn't download any of the stuff.

The software doesn't install until you click "I agree >>" but the I agree sign, and the enter sign look JUST like they're saying "Are you over 18?". It's an obvious attempt to disguise their terms and conditions and make people skip past them. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw this landing used more widely.

Can anyone post up any screenshots of these points for those of us who can't 'experiment' on their PCs?  It would be good for others to see what you're referring to and make a judgement, which could, perhaps, be the subject of a complaint?

Screens are of this nature (forum link), imagine the "Enter" sign flashing and drawing the eye towards it:

There are a number of variations, including several in other European languages.
