It has come to our attention that MBS as a company, or the software technology developed by MBS, may have been incorporated into, or sold to, Platte Media, a subsidiary / trading name of Platte International Ltd.
At time of writing (27 March 2008) we have not seen any irrefutable evidence to suggest that this change has taken place, though there has been plenty of anecdotal and circumstantial "evidence" to suggest that it has.
Hence, you will likely see the use of "MBS" and "Platte Media" / "Platte International Ltd" on this forum during what could well be a transition period while MBS phases out and Platte Media replaces them.
Though informally, when discussing this type of billing software in general, the two company names may be used interchangeably, it should be noted that we don't yet know the details of the relationship these two companies and/or their directors have, so no conclusion should be drawn from the discussions herein.
Until we have further, proven information about these companies, please be careful as to what is published as "fact".
